How it works
Hardscape fails from the bottom up, so the base is where the money goes. Pavers set on a properly compacted base with the right depth of screening stay flat for decades. Pavers dropped on sand because it was quicker start rocking and separating in about two seasons, and by then fixing it means pulling the whole thing up. We also plan where water goes before laying anything, since a beautiful patio that sends runoff toward the house is a problem you built on purpose.
