Low-voltage lighting designed around the house, not stuck in the grass.

You pay for the landscape all year and then it disappears at six o'clock. Landscape lighting gives you the other half of the day, and it is the single cheapest thing that makes a house look more expensive from the street.

How it works

Good lighting is mostly about hiding the fixtures and aiming them at something worth looking at. We uplight the trees and the architecture, keep path lights low and spaced so they guide rather than glare, and set beam angles so you see the effect and not the bulb. Everything runs low voltage, which is safe to work around, cheap to run on LED, and can be extended later without tearing the yard up again. Fixtures matter here more than most people expect, because cheap housings corrode in Florida humidity within a couple of years.
