How it works
We pull the old material out rather than piling new mulch on top of it, because stacked mulch mats down, sheds water, and starts holding rot against the base of your plants. Beds get weeded and edged first so the line stays sharp. Depth matters more than people expect: too thin and weeds come straight through, too thick and you suffocate roots and hold moisture against stems.
